Lollipop Art Lounge is an art studio that focuses on art and creative development. Our programs provide "kids" of all ages quality art instruction within a framework designed to encourage imagination and self expression.
Our programs build on and enhance creative thinking, regardless of age or education. Our reputation for originality and quality instruction is expanding across the Oakville area as individuals and families experience our teaching techniques and the originality of our programs. Our clients include the very young (0 months), school age children, teens, and adults.

This program has been designed for very young children to be introduced to art. Parents stay with their children to encourage and explore through activities like painting, mild sculpture, collage, and art making as a whole. A sub-goal for this program is that parent and child get to spend quality time learning together.

More experienced artists will enjoy Little Artist Two, as projects are slightly more difficult than those of Little Artist One. Project themes will explore your childs imagination and encourage creativity. Specially designed weekly projects will come together at the end of the session to complete one final masterpiece.

This is a NEW 2 hour DROP-OFF class for your preschooler. This artsy program will be filled with fun activities, art projects and music segments that your child will love, and you'll love the added bonus of some free time! This program will incorporate learning of simple words, basic math & science, while continuing to send your child on a wild art adventure.

Preschool Art Explorer (3-4 yrs)
This program will introduce your child to colours, shapes, and painting. Your child will learn basic art techniques while learning that practice makes perfect! Children will have the opportunity to try new things, be messy, make maistakes and turn the lessons into wonderful art pieces that they can be proud to take home and display.

The first Fine Art session will have a strong focus on artists of the past. Children will learn about how to mix colours, use an assortment of media with imagination, and will develop confidence to discover what Art Making means to them.

The best way to describe the 8+ Fine Art program is yourself as an artist. We will be doing a lot of self exploration through art works, developing ideas that are important to us, and how we can express them through our art.

As a continuation of Fine Art One, the end product from this course is that the child will have a wider understanding of art making. Through the introduction to acrylic paint and portraitures, children will be dealing with concepts like abstraction and story telling; much larger scaled artworks will be created.

Kindermusik Our Time encourages young children to be creative, to initiate their own ideas, and to respond in their own ways; while the parents active participation gives toddlers the security they need. Playing instruments, singing, moving, and exploring can help the toddlers uncover an engaging musical world while building their self control and communication skills.

This program will introduce sounds, rhythm, instruments, and movement to music. Songs have a simple word base and repetitive chorus to help develop vocabulary and memory. Hand, leg, body, and head actions performed when singing will improve coordination, fine motor skills, and the ability to concentrate on multi-tasking.

Yoga for 2 (5-7 yrs/8 yrs+)
In collaboration with Lollipop Art Lounge, 6 Minds Yoga has developed a program which will focus on the parent and childs overall health and wellness through yoga. Teaching them to stretch, relax and also to have positive self esteem.
Lollipop kids yoga is a dynamic NEW program that teaches yoga traditions through integration of movement, storytelling, poetry, mindfulness, and anatomy. Other things that the class may focus on are drama, leadership, flexibility, concentration, and meditation.

Spring camp at Lollipop is a wonderful way to welcome the season! With flowers bursting from the freshly thawed ground and plenty of wildlife to draw inspiration from, spring is the perfect time to explore with Lollipop. Many of the crafts are spring time focused and we take a few outings to local businesses for creating, cooking, and lots of fun!

Our mini camp is designed to suit children who are out of school a little earlier. This summer camp "Kick off" is a good testing ground to see if yoru child is ready for our full day camp. The camp runs in 2 to 4 hour sessions, not too long and not too short, just enough to get your child geared up for summer fun!

This half-day camp program is just enough time for little ones to experience camp. Little campers remain on site to work on specially designed in-house projects, baking, activities, and even get a little dirty with our outdoor gardening projects. Junior Fantastic Fridays (6-7 yrs)
Instead of committing to a full term of classes, you can sign up for these twice a month little gems! Each month there will be two classes running on Fridays. Main attractions will include pottery, cartooning, mosaic, sewing, and stationary.
The junior will be given the opportunity to explore many different projects, and perhaps they will discover some hidden talents and interests! There is a wide range of projects available over the course of the year, with special guests making the classes entertaining and engaging!

Lollipop Art Lounge knows how important it is to spend time with the people that we love but don't get to see everyday. NEW P.D. Day Program
Lollipop Art Lounge is now offering P.D.Day programming for children who are 5-7 yrs old. Sign up you child to spend a half or full day creating with other kids at Lollipop. During the day we will create art projects, take a nature walk and make new friends!

With so much to do it's hard to plan for classes! In an effort to make things a little easier, Lollipop will now be offering an open program.
For $125 you'll receive a card redeemable for 5 sessions of 1 1/2hr in our studio.

Our studio is filled with great projects, paintings & more. If there is something you have seen that you like or have an idea for a project you want to create using our studio space - please contact us.
We are dedicated to bringing out the artist in everyone and will help you custom design special artwork or decorative projects to personalize yoru child's space.
Please note this is not a drop-off program and costs will be determined by the project.

Another PD Day is quickly aproaching and we here at Lollipop are getting ready for great day of friendship, creating and play!
We have had great success with our PD Day programs in the fall and we know that this too will be a great day. Sign-up your child to join us for our February Fairy Tale PD Day!

Rules for Class Time:
1. Since we have limited space, all running activities will be held outside where our carefree kids can run like the wind.
2. Let's also save our loud voices for the outdoors & use our indoor voices in the studio.
3. Develop new friendship and be kind to all.
4. Our instructors will learn through you, just as you will learn through them. Listen to them and your artwork will become a masterpiece.
5. Nobody likes to get sick. If you're feeling ill please stay home and get plenty of rest so you'll be full of energy for your next class.
6. We're pretty punctual with our class start and end times, please make sure to drop-off or pickup within 5 minutes of our scheduled start and end times.
7. Lollipop Art Lounge reserves the right to discharge a child at any time wihtout warning if there is a suspicion of bullying and abuse.
8. Safety is our first concern, our Lollipop kids will only be released to the parent or guardian indicated on the registration form. If someone else is picking up your little artist(s) on your behalf, please let us know in advance.
