Sewing Classes

Level 1, ages 7+ In this introductory sewing class students will learn the fundamentals of sewing, including how to safely operate a sewing machine as well as a variety of embroidery hand stitches. They will create both functional and artistic textile crafts. They will design and create their own projects after completing a pillow, a tote bag, and an embroidered wall hanging.

 

Level 2, ages 7+ After completing level 1 sewing students will advance to level 2. Here they will build more confidence operating a sewing machine and learn more advanced techniques such as pattern making, weaving and how to add attachments such as zippers or pockets.
